Two of the Titans’ defensive priorities are to create more turnovers and produce more sacks. The team looked good in the preseason in both categories.

The Titans produced four turnovers against the Saints — bringing their preseason total to 13. Alterraun Verner and DaJohn Harris recovered fumbles, while Tim Shaw and Tommie Campbell intercepted Saints quarterback Sean Canfield.

“We’ve had quite a few turnovers — interceptions, fumbles — which means we’re making plays,” coach Mike Munchak said. “We wanted to see the defense continue that and I think they’ve done that. They’ve continued to put the offense in position with a short field. We only scored 10 points, but the defense put us in position for both of those scores and we should have had more.”

On the sack front, Keyunta Dawson had two and Harris one, giving the Titans 13 in four games.

If our defense plays like this during the season then we will make the playoffs. Book it.
