Alas the last 4 years have been a disaster. It’s the injuries that are killing this franchise Jake. I know it’s not your fault, but the franchise is on the verge of moving on.

Make no mistake about it, son, this franchise is dying to get Zach Mettenberger in there, and I think you know it. I am dying to see Mettenberger in there. You’ve seen him in practice, and I also saw the look on your face in the preseason where Zach was making throws that, lets face it you just cant make. Zach is coming after the bye, off that I am sure.

I think you have 1 last opportunity Jake, and it starts this week. We need to be 4-4 going into the bye, which means you have to beat Washington this Sunday, and then beat he Texans. I know you can do it, you have the weapons. Washington, Wright, Hunter and Walker is a legit receiving core, there should be no excuses. The line has issues but you should be able to handle it, your pocket awareness is actually something you do well with.

Good luck , win these two games and you will get the keys after the bye, if not its all done here bud. Honestly, I am fine either way, but I will be supporting you this Sunday 100%.
