Former Packers defensive end Jarius Wynn is scheduled to visit the Titans on Sunday, according to sources. Wynn is expected to work out for the team, and if signed, he’d bring experience to a young group.

Wynn, a sixth round draft pick out of Georgia in 2009, was released by the Packers last week. He had 19 tackles and three sacks in 2011, and was a member of Green Bay’s Super Bowl XLV team.

A 6-3, 285-pounder, Wynn has played in 38 games in three NFL seasons.

The Titans signed veteran Kamerion Wimbley this offseason, and he’s expected to start opposite Derrick Morgan. Behind those players the Titans have Pannel Egboh, Kenyunta Dawson and Scott Solomon. Dawson has played in 60 career games, but Egboh and Solomon, a rookie, have no NFL experience.

I'd hope Solomon first. Maybe get him onto the PS.

I'm not smart enough to answer this question, but bump for those who are. Never heard of this guy before, but if he can rush the passer.. I am all about it. Our dline has been a monster this preseason..i'm all about making it even better.

He was a bit of a tweeter when he came out. 6'3", 285. Little too slow from the outside, a little light for the inside. Seems like a direct replacement for Douzable. I'd say if they liked him, it could be either Egboh, Solomon or Dawson who could get cut. I really hope not Dawson, who seems like a backup to Wimbley in the rotation, to me.

My gut says he would compare to Pannel Egboh the most, and that's who I think he would replace, if he was offered a contract. JMO.

Most likely Solomon, who just had arthroscopic knee surgery a few days ago anyway

Yeah, I read that last bit of news after my last post. One would hope Solomon would get onto the PS.

I'm still worried the guy is more of a body than an upgrade, but I guess you're not really looking for upgrades in that last spot.
