That's what I'm wondering as well...

    Finnegan? Nope. Verner is better.
    Cook? Nope. He sucks.
Haynesworth? Nope. We read that one beautifully.
    McNair? Nope. He was done.
    Kearse? Nope. Another good call.

I'm really having a hard time finding a crazier decision than letting Verner walk.

Letting Mason walk was really our only big mistake and the only departure that really hurt us, but at the time we had no chance of doing anything with or without him.

I asked you if he missed games in 2012 and 2011, don't get bent out of shape about it brah! You didn't answer my question. BTW how did Hopkins play that last game against Houston? Pretty decent? Pretty much torched ATV and JMac even after AJ went out of the game? I'm just saying that I think ATV and JMac are serviceable NFL CB's. Both are far from being great players and I would be surprised if either makes the Pro Bowl even with all of ATV's interceptions.

Verner is the exact type of person this franchise likes to keep around. I would go as far to say he spends close to 10 years in TN assuming he can still play that long.

To get back on topic, I heard Munch last night on The Zone speaking about Warmack and the run game. He said Chance was getting confused with his assignments because he was having to help Stewart with his blocks. He said Otto being healthy helped Chance focus on doing just his own job. That raises the question, do we let Stewart rest against the Jags? I would.

All of our players should and hope that they can't go because they are busy playing in the Super Bowl!

We did not face AJ in 2011 at all. He was out both games... he was still hurt during that 41-7 embarrassment and the Texans rested their starters in the finale.

Your right with all of them except Javon..

If you recall he dominated early on in his career (obviously). Then in '02 he had a pretty bad injury and was done. He bounced back in '03 after the injury and had another great year (even though he was dinged up in '03 as well) and then he left.

Had we kept him, his NFL story could have been very different... I'm not saying he wouldn't have gotten injured here (as he did all those times after he left) but he did bounce back from that injury in '02 just fine and he always played really well with us...

    eh

keeping McNair would have easily been the right choice, or actually keeping Volek.
