I don't think Givens is a natural #1, but he can make great plays, we've seen him do that in New England, if Young threw more to Givens, he might produce big...

Uh, I thought you understood that Tennessee is the place that free agent productive receiver's careers go to die.

When Givens signed with Tennessee, he sealed his fate.

At least Bennett shows up and plays. He had some good catches today, and was robbed of another. Stick to complaining about the people that can't manage to be on the field.

Even Jerry Rice in his prime wouldn't be doing much here at this stage.

Remember Vince is raw and no WR on this team is putting up numbers.

    Conclusion:
Our passing attack is lame not due to our somewhat struggling rookie QB - No, its due to our recievers not realizing the effect of big comletions!!!

Yeah, you've really nailed that one dude  :ha:

Yeah right, he drops it more than Snoop.

He was thrown to 6 times & caught it twice if you include the one the Texan lovin ref's robbed him of. You don't get a nicknamre like 'Teflon' for being a go too guy.

First of all Givens isn't getting paid like a pro-bowler although his contract is pretty decent. Secondly what about Givens makes you think he is any better than Bennett anyway? Just because we signed him doesn't automatically make him better. He is what he is. Oh, his CAP hit is less than Pillar and Olsen, LT, and less than half that of Sirmon. Bennett's is 3.5 mil and Given's is 2.0 mil. He is signed through 2010 which makes his contract look big but by 2010 he will not be a real high priced guy.

Did I say Pro bowler. MY WHOLE FREAKING POINT is that he needs to establish that relationsip with Young. Like Mason had with McNair...
