    This one's a tough call.

I didn't follow Bowie very much... not into the glam thing... but I get his importance.

I liked early Bruce with that epic Broadway-sounding E Street Band (Born To Run, DOTEOT), 80's and later did nothing for me at all, with the exception of "Tunnel Of Love", which I think is one of the best written songs of all time.

This is tough.....Darkness on the Edge of Town is one of my all time favorite albums and Born to Run is an all time favorite tune.....but Bruce went political and crappy since about 80.

Bowie is an inovator and able to keep it semi-fresh.

    My vote is Bowie.

I just can't bring myself to vote for Bowie. I acknowledge the fact that he is very talented, but the dude is so freakin' weird.

    Springsteen.

I saw Springsteen at The Orange Bowl in the 80's which made me about wanna slash my own wrists. Bowie/Mick Ronson trumps that jazz every time. The weirder the better. It's Rock n Roll!
