I was so wrong about this kid. He's really a weapon.

TAMPA, Fla. Running back Darius Reynaud took another big step toward making the team’s 53-man roster. The way he’s played so far this season, the Titans are going to have a hard time cutting him.

Reynaud ripped off 39-yard run in the first half, and also returned a punt 35 yards and a kickoff 42 yard. He finished the game with a game-high 75 rushing yards on just seven carries, and he also had a catch.

“The times I get the ball, I have to take advantage of the opportunities,’’ Reynaud said. “I had a couple I could have score on, but maybe next time.”

A week ago, Reynaud returned a punt 85 yards for a touchdown, and also had an 85-yard punt return for a touchdown. Reynaud signed with the Titans in January after playing previously with the Vikings and Giants. He didn’t play football in 2011.

Reynaud was awesome tonight. He makes this roster as the 3rd down specialist/true change of pace back/returner/special teams. Not only does he play super hard, he has talent and skills.

Harper looked really good tonight as well. He had a 39 yard run that was called back for a holding penalty on Mariani. After that run CJ ran up to him as he jogged back to the sideline and headbutted him in celebratory fashion.

Ringer barely played, and when he did I thought he looked like poo. He seems disinterested and sulking to me.

There is simply no possible way to justify cutting Reynaud. It would be worse than cutting Blount - and that was really, really bad at the time. I'm not so mad about it anymore, but I probably should be. We rolled with 2 RBs in 2010. Fisher, how dumb can you be? You like to run the ball 65% of the time, but you only keep 2 RBs? Brilliant.

Anyways... I love Reynaud (so far). He seems like he's capable of doing it all. Sometimes players get cut, bounce around the league, and end up doing great things for some team. Reynaud can be that guy for us.

I love all of our RBs right now. At the same time, I need to temper my expectations considering this was, I believe, the worst run defense (close to it, if not) in the league last year... and Reynaud, Harper, Donaldson all faced backups from this terrible run D. Either way, they still looked great.

I'd honestly consider cutting Ringer. It pains me to say that because I like the guy, but we've seen the best from him. He will not get any better. These other guys are rising and will improve... A lot more upside from them.

Roll with 4 RBs if you have to.

One way or another, Munchak has some very hard decisions ahead of him. So many bright spots across our roster right now. I can't believe what I saw from Sen'Derrick Marks tonight.

Titans need to drug test Reynaud before giving him a roster spot. It's odd to me he didn't play in 2011 and can deliver like we've seen. Hopefully it's our good luck that his skills have "gel-ed".

If you watch Reynaud old highlights he's always played like that. Theres coulple vids of him as a Viking returning punts for TD's.

He's bound to stick somewhere and get his shot and will shine. I just hope it's with us.

Yeah, Skid Marks was a beast tonight. That sack/force fumble was SICK!

If he can play like that consistently all season, he and Casey may be the best DT combo in the league, with very good backups in Klug and Martin.
