As much as I despise Crompton, I think he deserves a fair shake from an NFL team. He had 4 Offense Coordinators (Randy Sanders, David Cutcliffe, Dave Clawson and Lane Kiffin) while at UT, he doesn't know consistency. At times he actually looked like he knew what he was doing.

 

Beating Western Kentucky by 60 doesn't count. There's probably a few high school teams that could do that.

I don't know what guy you were watching but Crompton has no chance.

 

Quit being a troll. I'm not the only one. I've watched a few more UT games.

I like the name actually.

 

He's a QB. We have two Pro Bowl QB's LOL, why would we need another QB when we activate only two to begin with. Until Collins is gone, QB is the LAST position I want us drafting.

 

I hope collins is gone before this season starts. Why keep a washed up, slow, one dimensional QB on the bench and pay him all that money? It's time to draft and develop a back up plan if VY can't play that can step in and be the face of the franchise, even if he sit on the bench for 3-4 years.

 

I think a lot of members here at goTitans know how much I dislike Collins as a starter. As a backup he's fine, but not for his current price. I don't want to keep a washed up, slow, one dimensional QB either, but he's still a Titan today. Knowing he's still a member of our team I wouldn't draft a QB is all. If he retires in March then sure lets look deeper into the QB pool.

 

I'd rather have Billy Volek as backup QB than have KFC. Yea, I said it. Dan LeFevour has a cannon and he will do well in this league.

 

It makes me smile to know I was bashing Crompton for being terrible while UT fans argued with me before this season. Now they've joined in. The guy is bad. As I've always said- it takes a special degree of suck to overthrow receivers on screens. He did it consistently.
