Dan Koppen visiting Titans this week

As someone posted before, Koppens injury wasnt as severe as a torn ligimant. You can overcome a break faster. Also this happened in the first quarter of the season so he should be fully healed by now. Has this been his only injury history? If so, at age 32 I'd lock him up for 3 to 4 yrs.

Here's a thought. Draft a 3rd-5th round center, and have them start Guard. Then once Koppen retires, we have his replacement... who was also getting playing time.

On the real though..besides last year he seemed to be pretty durable and solid. Also look at Ben Jarvis Green Ellis production from 2010 to 2011(w/o Koppen). His rushing yards went down 341 and YPC down 0.7. Koppen could be a great steal.

Here's a crazy idea. How bout we don't even freak out about drafting a center this year after we sign Koppen?

I mean if there is someone we like sure, but otherwise seems like we could wait.

Hate to reiterate but yep, 32 isn't old for a C. Mawae played at a high level for us 'til about 38?

That's kind of what I was thinking and Mawae still probably had another couple years left in him.

32 isn't old for a center, but usually centers take time to play, Koppen has played every game for 9 years almost. And do they even teach run blocking in New England?
