Damage to Locker's psyche?

Idk about the 3-4 seasons of growing pains developing.....been there done that. It was called the VY era...ended up settling with Kerry Collins as our best option...

 

Locker sucked today in exactly the fashion I was afraid of. Missing receivers, tons of incompletions, etc. Granted, he is playing behind what has to be one of the worst offensive lines ever, he still looks pretty inaccurate at times.

 

I'm not concerned about his psyche. I'm concerned with the fact that he can't hit water standing in a f*cking boat.

 

It was only his 2nd NFL start. I think we should be worried about the damaged psyches of the "fan base".

 

I'm more worried about our offensive line.

 

I don't understand how Munchak of all people can have such a poor OL. He was part of a monster OL at the same franchise! Depressed.. We haven't sorted QB position since Steve McNair was locked out the gates

 

We had one real nice drive but still had to settle for a FG.

And if case nobody noticed Wright is averaging 8.7 yards a catch. Just 2 games but he has not even been close to a down field threat.

 

At least he looks like he's trying...

 

VY was a nut job, it can also be labeled the flip flop qb era....where if we had a decent qb with a straight head, we would probably be talking about a superbowl appearance at least....

 

Locker's accuracy or lack their of was a major, major drive killer yesterday. Really reminded me of VY in his inability to deliver the short pass.

I really think that Locker needs to have more designed run plays in the game plan. We drafted him because of his athletic ability and we need to design some plays to take advantage of his legs. If we wanted just a drop back traditional NFL QB then we shouldn't have drafted Locker.

We have issues all over the place, but the one thing that we really need to see this year is Locker become more consistent.
