Craig Stevens stepping up..

    Do you think the Bucs would be playing Blount if they had CJ and Ringer on their roster? I seriously doubt it.

    Remember Courtney Roby? The Titans kept him for two seasons. They finally give up on him and he bounces around the league until the Saints find him and he's now one of the top special team players in the league. That, to me, is frustrating because the Titans were desperate for a kickoff returner/gunner last season.

    Yes I do. I think Blount is considerably better than Ringer. And I did not have that opinion before the season started.

    That is frustrating. But we had him, so why couldn't we figure that out and use him in that role? Lowry?

    Better than Ringer? Naw. I think time will bear that out. But I don't think the Bucs handle the situation any differently and would keep CJ and Ringer active and sit Blount down on gameday. Injuries is what got him this opportunity.

    They did. He was worked in as a returner and gunner. He just didn't produce. Sometimes, it takes a couple of seasons and a change of attitude before the light comes on.
