According to Fisher and MR during the Haye/Washington press conference.

Consistency is good and its great to have him back since he's been with us since 1999.. and to be fair, his average hasn't dropped any since he entered the league in 1993; but unless he agrees to sign for a mil a year, I think we might be better off drafting his replacement in the mid rounds and attempt to get our hands on a Shane Lechler/Donnie Jones type punter with a more powerful kick to be our long term punter.

Probably be more like $1.5M to $2.5M.

Did the Chargers lock up Mike Scifres? That's about the only guy who I would be thrilled to have step in for Hentrich.

Someone needs to photoshop Hentrich's jersey onto a picture of Herbert (the old perverted man from Family Guy), and a Titans helmet in his hand.

  4. Craig Hentrich is in my opinion one of the Titans legends(even though he is a punter) but its time to make the switch soon. his performance has been less than average recently

It's probably his last year. I doubt it'll be a very big contract. Good for nostalga, but I'm sure we'll have a plan in place for next season. While you have to have a punter, there are plenty to go around.
