This is not the kind of guy we need:

Ryan, the brother of Jets head coach Rex Ryan and son of former Bears defensive coordinator and Eagles head coach Buddy Ryan, was surprised by the firing.
Cowboys officials reportedly had been leaning toward firing Ryan long before he managed to patch the team’s injury riddled defense during a late unsuccessful bid to make the playoffs. Cowboys executives thought Ryan focused too much on his scheme, at the expense of forcing turnovers and fundamentals such as tackling. The 2012 Cowboys forced a franchise-low 16 turnovers, the league’s fourth-worst total, and a league-low seven interceptions.

Just because he is a loudmouth who brags a lot does not mean he is any good. Do not need a guy who puts his sceme before his players. Also do not need another guy who will not take responsability for his failures. We already get enough of that from :cj:. Certainly do not need a coach doing that.

As to the Fish Face rumors. According to this STL news paper it is far from a done deal:

He's never had a really successful D. He sucks. I hope we never bring in any Ryan family members as coaches for this franchise.

But I wouldn't quit being a fan of the Titans if we did.

He re-hired him as DC just before he left the Titans. No one knew about it either.

I remember we found out a week or so after he left. Was never reported as being done by the papers until long after he left.

That's insane. I bleed Titans' Blue but we need to do something about the substandard FO we have.
