How is he not starting? This guy is the man.
He IS indeed the man. How he's not starting CB or at the least no. 2 CB is the same way Michael "The Beast" Griffin is a stud rookie FS playing backup CB.
Is it the coaching staff or what? I just got done watching the game again and he seems like he's playing better than Harper.
Him and Odom have been the breakout stars of this preseason so far. It'll be interesting to see what combo of corners we use for the Jags game
I also wonder if Dontrell Moore will make the team. He's been playing great also. They were talking about him on the Thom Abraham show. In the southern radio area.
In the grand scheme of things, Cortland has outperformed Harper by leaps and bounds. The only thing coaching etc. can say is that Harper is new to the Titans and Finnegan has been here. Herndon needs to take off that #44 jersey too. yikes. MG needs at least one rep at FS jeez. we aren't even seeing how good our drafted FS is at FS.
Our DB's are filled with talent they are just all in their wrong positions. Everyone is mixed up. Finnegan, Griffin, Herndon, Thompson.
Relax, it's a position battle. I believe whole heartedly that my man Finnegan is going to start when the season starts, but don't you want to see how different players play, playing together??? It's the same thing that's happening with the running backs and wide receivers.
I would be suprised if he ended up starting... I will say that it is nice to actually have some depth at CB for a change... And that's without CrapMan. Cortland sure is making a case for himself but we'll see how he plays against first teamers when he gets the chance...
he has been playing against first teamers all preseason, hill has been injured
