Levitre doesn't magically fix our god awful OL. So, no.

Are we really debating offensive guards? ................. Well, when in Rome

Warmack is the type of OG that was most popular in the 90s and early 2000s. The big road grader type like those great Cowboys teams loved so much. Whereas cooper is more the type that was popular in the 80s and now. A more athletic guard. Much like Andy Levitre. Cooper maybe fits what we are doing now with :cj: in the run game. But who knows what the future brings. If Warmack is better then take him.

In the end it is moot. Actions speak louder than words. And the Titans actions point to CB in the first round. Notice how we have targeted every position in FA other than CB this offseason. Seems a little odd when you consider we are far from deep there and Verner is an FA next year. I think they are gunning for CB this year in the first.

I don't mean to downplay the guy, I just think Cooper is a much better fit for us, that's all.

I agree. But people who disagree with us like to use statements like that to misrepresent our position and make it easier to disregard our opinion.

Cooper is a good blocker while Warmack dominates people. On film Warmack is clearly the better prospect. He grades out higher and he is superior as a power run blocker.

Getting CJ to the next level is the objective not to have somebody running with him.

Levitre only ran a 5.33 40 and his cone time at the combine was worse than Chance's cone on his pro day.

Who judges O-linemen primarily on 40 time? That's from the dunce Wayne school of scouting.

According to this website Alan Faneca only ran a 5.5 40. Sure glad the titans never drafted him. How many pro bowls did he make 7-8?

Brandon Moore ran a 5.26 40 and had a horrible cone time of 5.84.

Nicks-Faneca-Levitre-Moore all too slow to play guard in the nf!.

Warmack is clearly the better prospect. One of the best guards to come out in a while. Cooper is good as well, but not in the same class as Warmack.

I'm still praying that we can move back a few picks. Miami @ #12, looking to jump infront of SD for Lane Johnson or Xavier Rhodes (SD could use either) or TB @ #13 looking to jump infront of SD/MIA for Xavier Rhodes. We move back 2 or 3 spots and still should be able to land Warmack, but also pickup an additional 3rd. We'd have 5 picks in the top 97.

Quinton Patton will love the Hawthorne pick. He had a season's worth of highlights in one game against him.
