So are Macs really that much better than PCs?

Long answer - Yes
Short answer - Yes

Why would I have misplaced anger toward the companies? Again, I'm a brand whore in many ways. I spend no less than 100 dollars on my jeans, typically 60 on my shirts, 150 on my shoes, etc. BUT... I don't make up some BS reason as to why. I like the way they look. I like the way they fit- but truth be told, the materials aren't any better. Better details, maybe better standards... but the materials are the same. It's the brand and price that tricks your mind in to justification.

I'm just not a sheep. That's it. Pretty simple to actually stand back and analyze things, for me.

However I see most the world consists of people that think "OH MAN THATS THE AUSUM!!!" and jump on whatever trend that comes along. And not only just buys the product, but then defends their silliness for purchasing the product to the death.

Just say you think it's cool. That's all. Don't lie about it or try to convince yourself there's some other reason. You think it's cool. That's it.

It's a matter of opinion.

For the cost (and depending on what you are using it for) it's not worth it, assuming you know how to use a computer.

I was more or less joking because of the other's posts here. I run Pro Tools, Final Cut and some mastering programs which means I have to run Mac. Obviously if you're just surfing the web or the like you're perfectly fine with Windows. That is until you get a virus or have a drive crash...

So, can you watch porn on a Mac and not have to worry about virusis? A friend of mine wants to know...
