    FF was indeed a top comic. The movies sucked holy arse though..
    It's surprising how much FF popularity has changed since the 70's when everything was FF and Spiderman.
    I disagree about Doctor Doom though. Comic characters in green hooded capes are just inherently lame. He doesn't translate on screen.
    SubMariner was a part-time villain/hero and worthy of getting his shot in the movies, but after that FF essentially shared all of their enemies with Spiderman etc. so either Namor or back to The Silver Surfer... Or how about a new villain outright?



    Exactly the opposite for me. FF was hands-down the best (and most popular along with Spiderman) SH groupings of the 70's but it was the lack of great (unborrowed) villains that suppressed them.

    Marvel killed off Wolverine in the comics and banned their writers from creating any new mutants specifically to take shots at Fox.

    Besides that, they want kill him off to re-do his character. Almost Superman like. Make him more relevant in this new Marvel universe. I think lol

    Marvel is rebooting or at least soft rebooting the entire universe.

    I'd imagine to line the characters up more with the movies unfortunately. Many of their histories are extremely convoluted.


    Give me:

    Base Avengers
    Base X Men
    One damn Spiderman
    Put Venom back on Brock and remove the machine guns
    One damn Hulk
    One damn Thor

    I hate every Marvel series outside of Guardians.


    Marvel might win on film but DC murders them in the books.
