Wow. I've seen a lot of him this past summer... he's pretty funny. Also, the BUZZ played highlights from the most recent roasts and I'm pretty sure they were playing Giraldo's parts.

    Very unexpected. What happened?

The life of a comedian is not fun. Rehashing the same jokes over and over again. Just going to comedy clubs talking to some of the lower level headliners, it's a pretty depressing job, until you make it into the big leagues.

Even when you make it to he "Big Leagues" you still have to deal with the added pressure.

Lemme see... rehashing jokes or putting "Box A" on "Shelf B"?

I'll take the pressure all day long..

    RIP GG

I'm surprised it was an accidental overdose. I would have figured the fast lane life he lived for a long time would have done it.

A shame. He got sober and really pulled his life together.

But it's less depressing because you have your own show/movies, and millions of dollars. It makes it more bearable. Traveling stand up comedian life is the pits. You have to truly love it to last.

Wow that really sucks. I was a big fan. Actually met him a couple months back at Zanies.
