whutaboutGump as a screen name is a shot at Vince Young. He's saying that although he is fast he isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. I thought it was a little more obvious than that.

 

I'll take leadership over pure intelligence, for a football player at least. I get more excited watching Young lead our team than I have been watching any other player in quite some time. I'm not looking for him to write essays.

I used to get really amped about Steve. Now I'm just like a bitter old ex girlfriend now... back in the day I thought McNair hung the moon. I feel every bit as excited about Young now if not more.

 

Well, I'm not sure. I used to get pretty excited by McNair, but I was less involved with the Titans until the second half of his career, so I'd say I'm more exciting after watching Vince from his beginning with us. I also feel like Vince has more potential than McNair, and that's pretty darn exciting.
