Good breakdown of the 0-13 at the end of the game. Much of that was not Collins fault. There were drops and protection breakdowns aplenty. He also brings up lack of separation by the receivers which I have been wondering about for a few weeks now. I doubt it happens this year but I fully expect Britt to overtake Gage by next season.

Last week, Kerry was missing wide open receivers. And a lot of the passes were short! I have a feeling we have the real Kerry from his Raider days now... UGGGHHH!!! I am not saying Vince would do any better but it is about time to find out...

Jags pass D might be bad but if Kerry can't get the ball to the receivers then it is a mute point...

Another thing, I didn't see one good play action out of Kerry. It was pretty easy to detect he wasn't going to hand the ball off. So the D could fall back into coverage and the pass rush could pin their ears back.

If we can throw out Kerrys 06 INTs for only 2 weeks in the system can we throw out Youngs INTs as well? Seeing as how before 06 Collins had played in over 160 NFL games and Young had played in none? I expect a guy to make a few more mistakes in his first 30 NFL games than the guy playing in his 170th-190th NFL game.

Great post. People on this board also forget that Vince has only started 1 and a 3/4 full season. Which is hardly enough time to judge a QB that is suppose to be the Franchise.

With the Jags having one of the worst 5 run D's in the NFL this season I hope that Fisher FINALLY goes back to the bread and butter run. I'm not saying KFC can't light up the Jags, I believe he can however I would rather see Lendale with 100 yds then KFC with 300!

I will state this again and if we loose this week then hopefully I won't have to explain anymore. We are done for this season and putting VY in now isn't a reflection on KFC but a need for the organization to determine if VY is worth paying 30 million the next 2 years! If we don't figure it out then next season we will have a 24 million dollar QB and only be getting the performance we are getting right now. Not sure about you but I don't want to be spending the most out of any team on a QB and have the situation we have now.

collins isn't the kind of quarterback to take over a game. he's a game manager.

the defense and the return game are much bigger concerns but the QB position is so glamorous.
