Yeah but I'm saying he called a lot of people, and said the same thing to everyone. They probably have some way to ensure it goes straight to voice mail as well. All teams do this, from NFL to College Basketball. I just don't get the hysteria.

it's a nice gesture. I doubt any other team would do that. Unfortunately they paired the most disappointing player with the most overpaid player. It's a good illustration of the franchise in general.

If you watch the video on Titansonline you can listen to many extremely awkward phone calls between Griffin/Mccarthy and fans. So they don't just all go to voicemail. And yea so what if they did a bunch. They probably only did 50 each max. They didn't sign up to do it 8 hours a day for a week. I'd be excited too, as long as it wasn't Griffin.

Yup why not get likeable players and players that have a personality to do it like Nate Washington & Matt Hasselbeck.
