They were teammates, i don't know how much he knows about his ability as an HC though.

Good use of sarcasm. Hilarious, actually...

Fewell could be the personality change this team needs. So could Munchak or Mularkey. Who knows.

Tomlin not only came from outside the Steeler organization he was a 4-3 cover 2 guy from the Bucs and the Tony Dungy-Monte Kiffen philosophy of defense.

That was the defense he ran in Minnesota.

He was smart enough not to change things when he came to the Steelers and is proof that head coaching is not primarily about the X and Os but motivation and fundamentals.

Sounds to me like 2tone thinks a good coach is a 22 year old listening to hip hop on an ipod. A coach who wants to throw the ball 50 times a game.

Most of the top coaches in the league are in their 40s and 50s. Belechick just won the AP coach of the year and he is 58. Not sure how being 50 makes somebody out of touch.

If you are looking for somebody with a significant resume of experience you are normally talking about somebody in their mid 40s or older. Like Fewell who is similar in age to Munch.

Fisher's philosophy was never the problem and it isn't that different from many of the more successful coaches. It's about implementing the philosophy better and maybe Munch can do that.

Munch is a former lineman so maybe with that he brings a toughness to this team that we need. Toughness not a cheap shot team.

What do you guys think of Bill Haslett as a coach? the Saints coach before Payton took over? Would you hire one of his top assistants for the head job?

It was Washburn who got Mudd to return to coaching with the Eagles. They are best friends. Loads of experience there.

It is odd to have a guy go from o-line to the DC. Maybe it gives him a perspective that most would not have.

There are a lot of guys who played on one side of the ball in college but ended up coaching on the other side for whatever reason but that usually starts early on so that type of change at this level is unusual.

I don't agree with that at all. If Munch gets the job he will have at least a 3 year contract and will be expected to win early.

Mularkey will want to run the ball as head coach with a balnced offense. His philosophy will be similar to Munch.

His Bills were ranked higher in rushing attempts than passing attempts in the 2 years he was there and his 9-7 team was a run oriented team.

His Falcons were among the league leaders in rushing yards and attempts.

I'm sure Stevens and Cook would love him.
