Some of the seats are really hot. Like Shanahan's face red hot. Speaking of that idiot, he's lucky this is his first season with his team.

    Hot seat coaches:
    Norv Turner
    Jeff Fisher
    Mike Singletary
    Jac Del Rio

Might as well pack their bags (and return to coordinating):
    Brad Childress
    Marvin Lewis
    Gary Kubiak
    John Fox

Who's getting the axe at the end of the year? Are there any others out there?

Jeff Fisher's only on the hot seat with fans. If the media and ownership aren't grilling you, you're safe. And he is.

Well the media very rarely "grills" Jeff Fisher for anything. And Bud doesn't have any reason to publicly complain at this point. I think if we miss the playoffs then firing Fish is something Bud seriously considers after the season.

I'd add Lovie Smith to that list. Despite their record they really don't seem to be playing very well. And it seems like there's always chatter about him being on the hot seat.

IMO.... Childress, Fox and Lewis are definitely gone. Del Rio, Singletary and Turner have a 75% chance of being gone (assuming they miss playoffs). Kubiak 50%.

And again, Lovie and Jeff are possibilities as well if they miss the playoffs.

Marvin will get an offer to renew from Cincy. Whether he stays is a different story altogether. If he had real control of that team (or where ever he HC's next season) he would kick some serious butt. Mike Brown is the insurmountable roadblock to that team's success..
    Wouldn't object to Marvin here..

    According to who though?

We've missed the playoffs before when we should have made it.

The Bears have played better than most people think.

They've forced 24 turnovers. That will win you games and make up for some of Cutler's dumb mistakes.

    Why?

The Raiders are leading their division. If the playoffs started today, they would be the #4 seed.

They can miss the playoffs and he would still be safe unless they lose out.
