I don't pay much attention to the Seahawks. A quick glance at their schedule so far however shows that they've done well defensively against teams like the Cardinals, and have been slaughtered by any half decent offense they've played. Though they did catch the Ravens on a bizarre off week (if memory serves me correctly the Ravens virtually only threw the ball that game, though that may have been the Jaguars game).

Not sure what "And, as you said, the Titans are bi-polar, and Greenbay only put 30 up on them too, I guess Greenbay sucks!" means however, since the Titans haven't played Green Bay this year. Though Green Bay has above and beyond the best offense in the league, but a fairly lousy defense.

The Steelers held the Bengals to one touchdown and nothing else, and meanwhile hung 35 on them. The Browns only got beat by the Bengals by one touchdown. 19-25 points is about what the Bengals tend to score every game, and you guys just lucked up and beat them by 1 (primarily thanks to a PI call).

Steelers have been on and off. Same goes for the Ravens. Really, my opinion is that the AFC as a conference is having a down year, and that even the best teams are a bit bipolar (just look at the Ravens and Patriots). If you want to talk about a great defense, I'd like to introduce you to the 49ers. Those guys have a great defense. Lions do too, but turnovers have been killing them as of late (or at least in the last few games I saw, not to mention that the Lions have been playing virtually nothing but legit offenses).

Nope, that's just reserved for ignorant Cow fans who show up on a Titans forum to talk trash. I find that highly pathetic, and therefore I have a very low opinion of the lot of you.

I'm just saying there isn't a good way to gauge how good the Cow defense is. Your best performances are either against scrub teams or at home versus lousy road teams. Your worst performances are against the only legit offenses you have played.

Look, even when the Titans were the number 1 defense earlier in the year I was skeptical. My thoughts were, "Well, we beat the Ravens, so that was legit, but everyone else just sucked..." And now I'm not even sure about the Ravens given how they've dropped games they should have won. Same thing for the Cows. I'm not going to heap the praise on them that you and your brethren so desperately want because, realistically, they haven't beaten any legit offenses (and you cannot tell me the Steelers weren't struggling at the start of the year).

Hold the Patriots to under 20. Or the Packers. Or the Saints. Then I'll say, "Alright, yeah, that's a pretty good defense." But beating up on scrub teams? Hell no.

I don't even treat people in general on the internet like that. As I said previously, just ignorant Cow fans. You may get worse than you deserve thanks to losers like naiirb, Air Canada, TackHammer, and ThaSchaub making the lot of you look bad (more like a bunch of retarded children with sand in they lady parts), but the fact of the matter is you still crawled onto a Titans forum to trash talk because your pathetic team got a lucky break, and I find that pathetic.

Seriously, if the Titans are undefeated Super Bowl champions next year, you want to know how many posts I will have on the Cow/Colts/Jaguars forums? 0. Why? Because I don't care what they have to say. I would just be happy to celebrate on my own team's forums.

Sorry, but you are dead wrong about the Texans making it multiple times... The best season they have ever had was 9-7 2 years ago. Which season would they have made the playoffs even splitting with the Colts. The Texans have been historically bad until this season. It was just the Colts that kept them out of the playoffs. Where have you been?

The Colts are perennial winners of the division... Making all other AFCS teams less likely to earn a playoff spot. Switch out the Texans to be a AFC West team (where they geographically should be if not for the Titans) and have them play all but one of the Raiders, Chiefs, Chargers, Broncos twice per year and tell me that they would not have been in the playoffs at least 3 or 4 times by now.

It's all about the competiton, and the Titans and Texans have had some of the stiffest outside of the Steelers/Ravens division.

Explain to me again how Manning's "Owning" of the division has not hurt ours or the Texans' playoff chances the past decade??

Oh well, not an issue anymore, because all of the AFCS teams look mediocre at best for awhile, but who knows what the future brings.

Note: I am not saying the Texans have been great all these years, we all know that's not true.

First of all, I would like to thank you for the civility in this post, now let me address the points you made.

What I find kind of funny is, every other team has an off week or isn't on their game if it suits your purpose, but the Texans

Yeah, it may have been confusing the way I worded it. The point was, you say the Titans are bi-polar, but then when I mention the Panthers you say well the Titans scored 30 points on that crappy defense! My point was, that's all Greenbay scored on them as well, and they have a great offense.

However, they are a bottom half of the league defense, so they weren't a good example.

Had the first half not been so sloppy, missed FG and goal line fumble that wasn't really forced but rather poor protection of the football, it wouldn't have come down to that last play. But, in the end, that's football, and even the best teams get calls that might help them win games from time to time, so all that matters is the W-L column.

The Bengals also put up 27 on Cleveland the first time they played (top 10 defense), 30 on Jacksonville (top 10 defense). Looks like that Bengal game against the Steelers was in Pitt as well, playing at home can make a pretty big difference as you have stated numerous times.

Yeah, the Niners have a very stout defense, no doubt about it. I never said the Texans have a GREAT defense, I said it's a hell of a lot better than it was last year, which is not debatable, and I said they are top 10 and ARGUABLY top 5. I don't think they are the best defense in the league, and I have said as much.

First of all, go ahead and quote one of my posts where I am "talking trash". Secondly, maybe you should read the post and respond appropriately rather than just treat the entire fanbase the same way. Statistically speaking, a young black male is the most likely out of all young men to commit a crime, so then would you treat all young black males as criminals? Do you see the flaw in the type of logic?

It is difficult to know for sure how good the defense is, but there is NO ARGUMENT that it has improved greatly over what it was last year. They gave up about 27 pts per game last year, so far this year on average only 16.... bad quarterbacks were torching the Texans last year, average QB's aren't even doing that this year. How good the Texans defense is, well that's debatable, whether or not they have greatly improved from 2010 to 2011, that's not. Like I said, I think they are top 10, MAYBE top 5, not the best.

You simply aren't listening, I don't care if you praise them or you don't, your opinion isn't that important to me, I just enjoy talking about football and don't always want to listen to Texans homers, I like diversity. I enjoy mingling with fans of other teams, helps give me perspective. Obviously, you guys like staying in your own garden, that's fine, that's not my deal.

The defense is good right now, I would say top 10 is good, but I don't think it's great yet.

Do you even read my posts, or do you simply see something positive about the Texans and immediately go on the defensive with personal attacks? Show me ONE SINGLE post where I trash talked the Titans.... ONE POST that's it.

That's great, and there's nothing wrong with that, just like there's nothing wrong with me conversing with fans of other teams. When you run into a fan of another team in a bar do you ignore them because they aren't Titans fans? If they are in a bar that's clearly a Titans fan hangout, would you walk up to them and say "Hey, your kind isn't welcome here.... we don't like you"..... seriously, who cares? I'm not doing anything that warrants that type of reaction, and even if I were trolling, all you do is lower yourself to that level by acting just like the person that's doing the trolling. It's one of those "Your stupid..." "No... YOUR STUPID!!!" "NUH UH.... NOT AS STUPID AS YOU" types of things.

Uh... what? OK, let me explain the concept of "trends" to you:
The Ravens have struggled against teams like the Seahawks, Titans, Cardinals, and Jaguars. Titans sometimes have good weeks, but the rest of that list really isn't that good. Ergo, the trend that I see is that the Ravens have been overlooking lesser opponents. Likewise, the Falcons have struggled as a road team. Also, the Bengals have been struggling for the past month or so. And the Steelers were struggling earlier in the year, but then got their act together. These are "trends".

What's the trend with the Cows? They beat up on scrub teams and then lose when they play a legit offense. Your logic would then dictate that the Cows have only had bad days when they played legit offenses, and their good days all came against teams that aren't so stellar. That's ludicrous.

Panthers played us after their bye week, and the trend has been that most teams haven't played as well after their bye weeks.

Again, the Bengals have been struggling. Watch their first game against the Steelers and their latest game against the Steelers. It's night and day.

OK, let's stop right here. Statistically, maybe, the Browns have nice stats. Realistically? No. We hung 31 on them at home and the Cows hung 30 something on them. Teams typically drop 25-30 on the Browns. That's not a great defense regardless of the stat sheet. As far as the Jags go, dude, they've been so up and down it's almost impossible to make a statement about them as a team this year, except for "they have a terrible offense."

That's the drivel most Cow fans spew ("GRATEST EVAR!"). And I don't think they're anywhere near top 5. Maybe upper top 10, though certainly better than last year. But still, they've mostly played scrub offenses, so it's hard to really tell.

Yes, I'm going to go through all of yours posts to find where you last ran your mouth about the Cows. That would be something worth my time. :sad2:

Really? Then why do you keep giving me these giant walls of text trying to express your opinion? Why are you on a Titans forum defending the Moo-Moos if you don't care? Diversity? What do you think people on a Titans forum are going to be saying about the Cows? If I want diversity I'll go chat it up with a Packers fan or a 49ers fan or something like that, I won't be going to the Cows/Colts/Jags boards.

Well, I already said I'm not wasting the time to pick through all of your posts. But fine, I'll reword it:
You still crawled onto the Titans forums hoping to get some verification of the Cows since they got a lucky break, and I still find that pathetic.

Well, first of all, it would be "you're" at the end there little Cow fan. Second of all, if I was in a bar and saw an Auburn/Heat/Cow fan yapping it up about their team, chances are I would ignore them. If I was in a Titans bar and saw a Cow fan, it would depend on what they were doing. If they came in there to try to get some praise for their sad team because they caught a lucky break, sure I'd call them out on it. If they were trying to yap it up about the Cows, I'd likely ask them why they were wasting their time in the "Titans bar".

The fact of the matter is, it's still sad that you, and your brethren, have crawled to this forum to defend the Cows against the mean ole' Titans fans.

And here's the thing, if you only show up on a teams forum to talk about another team, that's kind of sad. You aren't here chatting it up about the Titans or Titans games, the only thing I've seen you do is defend the Cows. Why? What's the point? Do you really have nothing better to do with your life? I mean, I find it slightly annoying when some fan of another team is on here trash talking before/after we play, but good Lord, we haven't played the Moo-Moos in over a month, and our next contest is in three weeks, yet here you losers are making this one of the most active sub-boards!

If you want to talk about the Titans and their future, or specific Titans games, I'll be more than happy to chat it up with you. But if you just show up to run your mouth about the freakin' Cows? That's pathetic.
