Thats the beauty of it. The Texans are Houstons team.... The Oilers were Houstons team. That rally about kicking he door in was in Houston. By Bum Phillips who is and has been a Texans fan. He goes to games here, and heck his son is a coach here. And why wouldn't he??? He is a real TEXAN. The Oilers are DEAD. They are the "titans" now, in someone elses city, and have nothing to do with the HOUSTON Oilers and what was. We, as fans... Have now gotten to watch two of our own, brand new teams, born right here in Houston make the playoffs. Not some hand me down sloppy seconds team with a past already.... That has to be annoying for some of you.

The Panthers, Jaguars and Browns all dealt with the Salary cap. The cap started in 1994.

The Texans selected 19 players in the expansion draft. I can find no difference in the rules of the draft from 1995, 1999 to 2002.

What I can find is that the Texans didnt have to fight another expansion team for players. The Texans had it all to themselves and still screwed it up.

So its just another excuse that some Texan fan came up with and people said it enough and you started believing it. It is just another excuse to cover the disaster the Texans have been.

Honestly, I don't really see how it's relevant to the current success of the team. They started out bad, picked a QB that ended up being a bust, may have picked the wrong people to run an expansion team, but other than harassing Texans fans how else is it relevant?

I swear, the Cows must have the most pathetic fan base in all of existence. There's at least 10 of you idiots on the Titans forums, trying your hardest to get some shred of approval from us.
