Mike Reinfeldt has only been here 3 years.

 

Is everyone in this organization on a leash? Funny how guys like Josh McDaniels get the keys to a franchise and pretty much trade away half the draft to draft a guy like Tim Tebow... Then we have an organization over here who only gets players from the university of texas.

 

MR has done a great job in my eyes..

 

VY, Griffin, Scaife and Hall were all Floyd Reese picks. Simms is the only UT guy not drafted.

IMO.....Reinfeldt has done a pretty good job working within his limitations (owner and coach who have a say in personel). CJ, Britt and Morgan all seem to be pretty decent 1st round picks so far under his watch.

 

Reinfeldt has done ok, but you know he doesn't have near as much say as Fisher does.

 

Then you have guys like Paul Williams, Chris Henry and Ryan Mouton. Yikes. That 2007 draft was awful.

Overall I'd say it's been pretty mixed with Reinfeldt here. He's made some weird trades. Bryce Fisher was useless. Travis Henry was kind of a waste of a third round pick.

Has he brought in any big-time contributors as free agents? Nate Washington was severely overpaid. Jason Babin might be one and done with us. Will Witherspoon is a stopgap starter.

I think it's still too early to tell.

When I think of how we can fix ourselves, firing Reinfeldt doesn't come to mind. I'm pretty satisfied with his work, it's Fisher who's turning his offseason work to crap. But who ever is responsible for drafting Marks needs to be slapped.

 

I don't know for sure that Reinfeldt was the one who made the decision to draft Chris Johnson (very ballsy pick at the time) and Kenny Britt. Both appear to be fantastic draft picks. If they are Reinfeldt guys, then it would be crazy to fire him.
