The Texans' defense is not as good as its #2 rank last year, but it isn't far off at all. Also, you can't look too much into our preseason ranks, though it is pretty impressive. It means nothing.

Russell Wilson is the best QB we've faced and he's still obviously unproven.

Doug Martin is the best RB we've faced and he's obviously unproven as well.

Let's see where we rank after the first four weeks.

 

The Big show starts Wednesday and our part of the Big Show comes on Sunday and the basic's are out the window. Now we all get to see what we have.

Actually, no they werent better last season. By what measure was 2011 better than 2009? Season record? Thats a joke...

You think CJ is done with absolutely no data to back it up. I say he isnt which I can back up with stats. I dont care how many yards he gets as long as they win. Its about the team. CJ will contribute.

So let me get this straight, you just said the Titans weren't better last season over the 2009 season even though their record was better. Then you say you don't care how many yards CJ gets as long as the team wins?

So then you're admitting that I was right when I said Titans 2011 was better than 2009, that's what I thought!

 

Ok.. Now I get it... You are one of those ( I know you are but what am I) type people.....

This might be tough for you.... but let metry and explain why i come to my opinion... The 2009 team was ALOT better than the 2011 team. The 2009 team was playing a Division winners schedule, while the 2011 team was playing a last place teams schedule.

Do you understand that?

In 2011 CJ wasnt ready, the OLine was bad, the team had a new coaching staff and no time to prepare. CJ had a bad year. It happens.

 

You want stats: here's some from 2011

574 yds over half of CJs total output of 1047, 55% to be exact came in 4 games.

101 yds vs CLE and their 30th ranked Rushing Defense
130 yds vs CAR and their 25th ranked Rushing Defense
190 yds vs TB and their 32nd ranked Rushing Defense
153 yds vs BUF and their 28th ranked Rushing Defense.

So in the other 12 games, the highest paid RB in the NFL managed to gain 473 yds, 39 YPG!!!

Now you can retort, with all of the excuses you want, THESE ARE FACTS.

 

2009 Strength of Schedule based on 2008 record, 14th toughest record.
2011 Strength of Schedule based on 2010 record, 23rd toughest record.
Remember, these are based on previous year's record, I think a better measure would be the cumulative record of those teams in the year you play them, just my opinion.

But, based on your excuses, "In 2011 CJ wasnt ready, the OLine was bad, the team had a new coaching staff and no time to prepare. CJ had a bad year." I would have to say the team was BETTER to overcome all of these obstacles and adversity

Now don't get all butthurt and start calling me names and such, I'm just saying that CJSideways or CJ0K, whichever you like best, is not an elite RB in this league. If that hurts your feelings and makes you call others names, then maybe you should get off your mommies computer and find another place to express your opinion.
