did he? darn well that was before he thought his o-line would blow, especially with hall of fame o-liner coaches, munchak and matthews.

he likes to talk a lot so hopefully this doesnt put a target on his back

Theres been a target on his back since the back end of the 2008 season. But theres no way running his mouth can help him. Its just going to make people want to twist his ankles.

I don't like when players run their mouths, but that is just CJ. At least he seems to still want to be the best player in the NFL, and if he wants it bad enough, then he will probably work for it.

Its better than when Haynesworth got paid and then basically refused to do anything.

Are all of you old and white? Confidence is a good thing. It is obvious he still cares about doing well in the league. What do you want him to say when reporters ask him what he's going to do this season? Say "no comment"? Or say "I don't know, I kind of had a bad year last year. I'll probably do something like that again"?

    I will say this...

I am getting tired of the media setting players up (like when they asked Eli Manning if he was "elite") and then ripping them a new one when they say something "arrogant".

If it were me, i'd have said "let's go out in the parking lot. You stand 30 yards away and I'll chuck footballs at your nuts. Then you tell me if I'm elite."
