I don't think you could say we have a top o-line any more.
And it just so happens CJ doesn't have top numbers anymore. Funny how that works.
Statistically our O-Line is 23rd at run blocking and CJ is third in yards per game.
He's also 24th in YPC as opposed to 1st last year at this time. And first for attempts. Give Javon ringer more carries than anyone else and he'll be near the league lead in rushing yards too...Do you really not realize this? Quality over quantity remember that.
Teams stack the line when CJ is in, they make sure he has no cut back lane or open hole, when Ringer has been in he hasnt faced a 9 -10 box like CJ. Teams hit CJ in the back, i just seen a stat sheet the other wek, about CJ having the higest% backfield contact of any RB in the league this yr. If the line could just AT LEAST block the line of scrimage for him to at LEAST get the handoff without having to make a move quickly he could be like he was last year. Teams are taking NO CHANCE of him breaking one.
make them pay Vince!
No doubt, the team is behind him reaching 2K after seeing the Jags game. Could backfire if teams believe the Titans will run up the score. But I believe the Patriots were accused of that a time or two.
No Oline is going to make open running lanes facing 8-9 man fronts.
