CJ Changes his Tone

How can you say he's "always honest" and then in the next paragraph say that he was a big part of the run game's inconsistency and he refused to accept any of the blame? That's not being honest in my book. Or do you think he's just so deluded that he doesn't even realize he's a part of the problem?

And I know more than anyone that people can change in a short amount of time and I really do hope that CJs attitude is sincere. Its just one of those "okay, nice to hear, now keep saying it for a year" situations lol.


My son has told me many times "trust me, its different this time" and it always turns out the same. Im skeptical but hopeful.

 

He changed his tone, period. I doubt he's really sincere about it, but that's okay because I don't care. Just give the answers the fans want to hear.

He goes from hating the Greene signing to embracing it. And remember the CJ strip club tweet I posted and argued how stupid he was for it? He deleted that.

Glad to know he's got some new PR people telling him to stop being such a damn fool. I don't care that he is a fool... just try not to act like one all the time.

He's usually fine, and like others have said, the fans are gonna eat him alive regardless of what he says or does, thats how it goes when youve declared yourself the best.

 

If he gets back to anything close to 2000 again he'll be LOVED

 

It is natural for people who can run faster than 99.9999% of the population to be very arrogant. Think about it. There is very little that you can compete at which is more universal. Everyone competing in the 100m dash at the Olympics are easily 10X more arrogant than even.

 

I believe that loads of elite athletes are very selfish people. They care about their own stats. They value personal success above team success. I think it's just a consequence of being elite -- for a lot of guys, it's what drives them. They have to be selfish or they can't be successful.

The smart ones know not to talk about it, though. I could believe that CJ has finally learned that lesson.

What I can't believe is that he's actually a team-first guy now.

But, like I said, I don't think he has to be. He just needs to stay motivated. Whether he scores TDs for himself or for his teammates, they are still Titans TDs.

 

I dont care what his motivation is. I dont have to be his friend. Just FN run like u are paid to run.
