Yeah, a guy 35 with over 17,000. Yards knows nothing compared to a guy with barely two years in the league. I bet he mentors Cassel every week with his wisdom. You are really a guru.

Maybe I missed your reply earlier but are you saying Cassel is a better QB than Mariota?

A simple "yes" or "no" works for a reply.

    Actually, it's "Bullock".

I should know. I sent him a box full of cow excrement for Christmas.

Yes. If we had started Cassel with the offensive talent around him we would be in the playoffs. But he is not the perceived future of the franchise, and we have a bad defense, so I believe everything is geared towards 2018.

I'm going to hate myself for needing to satisfy my morbid curiosity but what on earth leads you to believe his 79.2 career passer rating and 58.9 completion percentage at age 34 is better than a 93.8 passer career rating, 61.6 completion percentage who just turned 23?

I've seen some pretty outlandish bish on this forum over the last 15+ years but this one might take the cake.

A bit of trivia: How many seasons in his 12-year career has Cassel had a better passer rating than Mariota's young career average of 93.8?

I am amazed you don't see how hand-picked the stuff is for him mm. As I stated, most of his stuff is either behind the los or 0-10. He has had fantastic production from his receivers. I can't remember one blatant drop. He also throws few passes. When you have a legitimate running threat as we do completing passes isn't hard, especially short ones. If he's as great as you say, why couldn't he get more than 88 against Denver, when they give up 195 a game? Why did he only have 99 against the jags? Your stats don't equate. He has the 2nd best line in the NFL. Has Cassel had that luxury? Cassel had some good years. It's luck of the draw sometimes where you end up and the team you play for. At KC his first year he was poor in TD to int, but his second he was fantastic. Did he change or the team get better?
