Ive said it all along. Ponder is BY FAR the best QB in this class.

But there are other issues. He could be the next Pennington in every way. A QB that can pick you apart... but will probably get hurt before halftime.

I hope CP7 can stay healthy and I hope we draft him... but it's a risky move.

I want to trade back and draft a DE in the first. Ponder with our first second rounder and Marvin Austin with our second second round pick. Then Casey Matthews with the third round pick

I'd be more then fine with Ponder. That being said, if we trade back in round 1, I bet we pick him there. There are multiple reports about possibly 5 QBs going in round 1. This is not the year to wait on a QB with a third of the teams needing them.

I think it's a big stretch to say that Ponder is "by far" the best QB in this class. He isn't. Even if he is the best (which is debatable), it's by a slight edge. The huge injury risk that he carries would negate that edge.

If the Titans come out of the draft with Ponder, I won't be upset. I like the guy's potential. I think he's more of a fall-back option, though. I expect the Titans will target a high-upside player like Locker or maybe Kaepernick and will go after Ponder only if they miss on their preferred choice.

BUST is my prediction. Noodle arm and will be injured often.

I love Ponder, and I can see him lasting until the 3rd or 4th round because QBs tend to fall. we could make out with some huge Defensive picks in rds 1-3 and still end up with Ponder, best case scenario IMO.

Contradiction? In a previous post you said you thought Stanzi was the best QB. Why the change?

Stanzi is as good a prospect as Ponder.
