You don't change horses in the middle of the stream. They usually get away from you and many times drown. You get them across and start anew on the other side. I think Palmer is basically right in what he says. When you have little talent, it's hard for the coach to sit a player on the bench because the substitute is as bad or worse than the one playing-or not playing as the case may be. Even Bud knows not to fire coaches in the middle of the season. It's just silly. Let Munchak do what he can do with what little he has. Next season, if things don't turn around this last half, then Bud can do what he wants. It isn't for us to complain and grouse cause we don't count. Maybe we should look to find some positives instead of bemoaning our fates as fans all the time. Or maybe some of you armchair players should go down to the offices and offer your expertise.

Sounds like Palmer is taking a page from the Obama presidential campaign. He probably figures that if America is stupid enough to give the worse president since Jimmy Carter another 4 years even though he's accomplished nothing but debt, high unemployment, and anemic economic growth then maybe the Titans fans will fall for the same story....we're moving forward even though there's no signs of it so give me more time to let this dismal performance play out...lol!

Well I for one am not buying it!

5 years ago we were #1 in the league with probably the best defense in the league.

Love how Obama gets thrown into this ;)

I heard Munch got caught wearing an Obama jersey last week at some rally. Said he "wants to feel like a winner!"

    Sorry, couldn't resist.

I gotcha. I missed the game to go to a Bengals game with my dad and granddad. I'm still regretting the decision. I feel like we would've played better if I could've watched.

The defense hasn't always been the unit to let us down. They've played tough at times this season. But when it rains it pours. We've also gotten blown out more than a handful of times.

He may have won the battle but America lost the war because socialism always fails and the fact that this clown got re-elected with such a dismal record shows that the majority of Americans don't give a crap about opportunity but only cares about "free stuff" from the public coffers. Sad to see the old America turning into the same failed socialist economy my Greek emigrant father tried to escape!

I was just stating an obvious comparison that Palmer must think this "give me more time and it'll get better" sales pich sounded familiar. Sorry to rant about something else that sucks as bad as my favorite football team but I am very pissed about the performance of two things I put a lot of my time and effort into, my country and my favorite football team. Both have me very upset at the current time so you can go stick your head in the sand all you want but the fact is we are going broke as a country and we will all have to pay the piper sooner or later. For the time being we are still somewhat of a free country so if you don't like what I'm saying skip my post and go on to the next one.

There, I feel better now, bottom line people need to be fired when they don't perform and this coaching staff is NOT performing so I say lets fire them, at least the coordinators at the minimum need to go!

You have 541 posts, plenty to get into Taboo and discuss politics there.

I also suggest opening up a history book and learn what a true socialist country is instead of repeating what you hear from Rush.
