It should never be about the stats when it comes to Johnson. Why is he worried about getting 2500 yards? If you're going to talk the talk, you better walk the walk..

Chris Johnson has the talent to do anything he puts his mind to, but he needs other people to step up in order to make that 2500 prediction possible.

The hold is what got CJ that long run, so we can't use that. The defender was reaching for CJ while being held. Thus the hole... thus the run... thus the flag... thus the reason we don't count 'would haves' in stats.

Problem with CJ is that he's 1 dimensional. Just get to him and he's done. Fill holes and he's done. He doesn't hit the hole hard or push people back to earn the 4 tough yards... he dances and hopes for 70. That's easy to stop for good teams.

He did have 1 tough run today at the first. Bounced off a few, but it stopped shortly after. He took one big hit and looked like he didnt want to play anymore.

    Overreact much?

Johnson played fine today. Not great by any means, but it sure didn't help that the offense never got any rhythm and everyone kept turning the ball over. The Steelers never let anyone run for 100.

2500 yards (or even 2000) was a pipe dream anyhow. I have no problem with players setting high goals, but I think we all need to be realistic. Let's hope he rushes for 1500. He's still on track for that.

He's on track for 1400 yards after 2 games. That's pretty good.

    He played well today? Huh?

He averaged 2.1 yards per carry, fumbled, and had no TDs. That's pathetic. He shouldn't be immune to criticism. Any time a back talks about himself as much as CJ does as if he's by far the best back in the NFL, he'd better not have any god-awful showings like today.

I rewinded it a few times and rewatched it. It was a ticky tack call but it seemed like CJ had already hit the lane when he was allegedly holding. Holding or no holding, it didnt really effect the play which is why im surprised they called it. If that is called holding, then there is holding going on during every single snap in every single NFL game.

So, great players can't have bad days? - Like the Media Attention Whore Drama Queen in purple? Or his Robin, who claims to be better than CJ?

You demand perfection of our players or staff, otherwise they're just the lowest scrap of alltime. You seriously need get your reality sense checked.

So if you consider Adrian Peterson the best back in the NFL, do you give his showings against Arizona (13 carries, 19 yards) or Carolina (12 carries, 39 yards) a pass? Every great back has bad games...our back had his against the best defense in the league.

Sometimes you just have to take what the defense gives you. The greatest back in NFL history (whoever you think it is) can't run for 100 yards when holes aren't being opened, the box is stacked every play and the offense is no threat to pass.

Johnson didn't have his best game, but it's not his fault the Titans lost yesterday. Not even close. He's carried the offense on his back long enough that he shouldn't have to get called out the one week when he can't do it (against maybe the best defense in the league). Sometimes the passing game needs to step up and carry the run game.

I love the "it sucks" graphic, that's why I gave you an "it sucks." because it doesn't suck.
