Right now the Bills have about $104M tied up in contracts next year, the cap is around $120M, you do the math, Byrd is back.

I'm not a CJ jock holder. I was of the mind that we should have traded him in the off-season. However, there is no reason actually make a conscious attempt not to enjoy your team winning games.

"Oh, we are doing good ... don't smile, because we were doing back a month ago, remember? Let's continue to wear that woe be us attitude and roll in that sadness awhile longer."

No. As a fan, you have a right to enjoy your teams victories and your team doing good. It's not against the rules to enjoy being a fan. And people that say they are "real fans" because they choose to ignore the good and live in the bad, no matter if they have to dig up the past to find the bad or not, need to get a life. Enjoying CJ finding new success and the team about to get back to .500 isn't a bad thing, and it doesn't make you jock holder, a knob slobber, a homer, a genitile rider, or any other silly phrase anyone can come up with. Our offense is playing well ... enjoy it while it lasts. There will be plenty of oppertunities to feel bad in the future.

Until he kicks, screams, and whines. I bet they go more the route of Titans, rather than Bears or Jags.

I'm just saying you know how over-performing players demand new deals before their current deal expires. But they fact they have 14mil in cap space, 5 starters as FAs, and will have to sign rookies (does that count?).. shows that potentially, he could hit the open market. He deserves 6mil/yr ATLEAST.

Well Spiller has some pocket change to spend, Chris Johnson didn't. Spiller has no reason to holdout in the future, even if he is the best CJ in football.

Keep dreaming man. But I'm with you, I'd love to have Byrd over Griffin, I just don't see it happening.

Even if Byrd is available, let's be real... it's us. We prefer Scott Solomon over Asante Samuel. We pay Michael Griffin as if he is Troy Polamalu or Ed Reed.
