Chris Johnson Just Guaranteed we make the playoffs

You guys were bashing the team earlier for having no effort and basically giving up, and you're bashing CJ for having a goal and some motivation for the rest of the year? Get real people..

 

Yeah, if we're being realistic... the playoffs probably aren't gonna happen. But I don't see anything wrong with CJ making a bold statement like that. He's a young star on the rise playing his butt off right now. He's having fun. I like the confidence.

 

For us to make the playoffs San Diego would have to have an utter collapse and they play KC, Cleveland and Washington.

 

If we do indeed go to 10-6 we will be in the wild card and will probably get to go back to Pittsburgh for some payback!!
Ravens are falling, Jets are a mess, Broncos are self destructing. I see Patriots, Colts, San Diego and Bengals as division winners with Pittsburgh and hopefully the Titans as wild card.

 

Not if the Broncos collapse instead.

 

They are 2-0 in division play KC 2x and the Raiders. Basically they would have to finish 3-4 from here on out, meaning they do not win any of the games other then the flopping teams. We want a shot at the Chargers because we play them head to head and our 1-3 in division would not matter.

 

Yeah, you have a point there. They looked horrible against Washington (granted Orton was injured and Simms had to step in).

That Christmas game against SD will be a make or break if we're still on a winning streak by then. Good thing its at home.

 

I encourage the swagger. It's something the team had none of before it started winning.
