What I noticed is the angles the d is taking on him look right at first and then he just flat passes them by. Looking foward to this.

I've seen most of those plays before. The guy has skills. I can't wait to see him play this season. Everyone says we didn't get VY a weapon in the draft......hmmm I dunno this guy sure does look like a weapon. He will be catching quite a few passes I think.

I can't get over how quickly he can get to full speed or change direction... a couple plays he'd stop to avoid someone and I swore he'd be caught from behind, but one step and he's back to full speed.

JMB54 - I thought the same thing about the angles... I guess it's a mix of his acceleration and the angles Johnson takes, but it's like the LB is in perfect position to make the tackle and Johnson just makes a slight adjustment and slips through the crack. Very impressive. That's the kind of stuff they say you just can't teach.

CJ ..... revelations of a Pirate!

Good afternoon .... just thought I'd stop by and say howdy and add some insight on CJ.

Thanks to REO for posting my videos.

First off, the Titans drafted on heck of a rb the videos just don't do him justice. The reason I slowed many of them down was it is impossible in some instances to see what he sees unless you really take a close look. Our offense was tailored to CJ. We ran alot of power I formations with a hybrid H-back. The guy that filled H-back position was actually a TE so where ever Jay Sonhalter went Chris was sure to follow. Jay was the guy that opened the hole or sealed the outside.

Chris is just a phenominal athlete a natural born runner. He's just a fast laterally as N/S plus he's got a gear only a few ever dream of having. The kid can run inside he's tuff as nails. What you'll see is his field vision is as good as it gets. He's looking past the LOS into the 2nd/3rd layers of the defense so once he launches he's already set the defense up. Good observaton that your wideouts are going to be the key in springing him. Watch the video a see how he used ours all the time to break loose.

Anyhow, I've got another three hours of CJ video if you want to see some more. In addition to his speed is his quickness. His 1st ten yards are the fastest you'll find anywhere. Your in for a treat! Go Titans & Pirates!

I know ECU has the tag as a mid major and believe me that sticks in our craw. Our yearly OOC schedule is strong so CJ performed at the level.
We've proud owners of alot of Bowl Iron ...Tangerine, Peach, Liberty (2), Gallery, Mobile, Hawaii. Here are some of the current and previous NFL players that called ECU home. What you don't see is the other 10 that our currently playing thru free agency.

CJ is in great hands ... Ernest Byner (ECU Class of 84, Brown RB extraordinare).

That's not a very impressive list of pro football talent out of ECU.

Hopefully Chris Johnson becomes the best from that list.
