This is what we have to do in my opinion. Fire Palmer, trade CJ for a great WR and a draft pick. Draft and sign some quality O-line and defensive line to put pressure. I don't know about the DC, if he continues the way he has been he is doing all right in my book. With Britt coming back and possible WR signage we are okay there, the WR we have now are impressing me.

What "great WR" do you expect to get for him? CJ is having an awful season, by CJ standards. His stock has never been lower. Not to mention his contract.

Sign Michael Bush. Upgrade line through in-house adjustment/draft/free agency. Use CJ like Jamal Charles was used with Thomas Jones.

AMEN!! Every game is different. The top teams balt. pitt n.e. are cold, snowy, bad weather teams on crappy fields. If CJ can't plant or use speed,we are dead in the water. Need a rb to pound and get tough yardage.

uhh...why not just trade him for a draft pick as im not sure what great wide receiver your talking about but a great wr is worth more in todays game than cj let alone a draft pick to...im thinking like a 1st and 2nd(at most) maybe a first and 3rd from the bengals?

i would go crazy for that if we did get that for him...

In most cases, the worse the weather, the better CJ does. I can't explain it but he does. Tampa Bay, NE in 2009, and the Our last Playoff game come to mind

We'd be better off cutting ties with Johnson (the new CBA and his contract makes the cap hit manageable for us) and investing that money in a new receiver, a big reliable halfback, and a center (Garcon, Green-Ellis, and Harwick) then draft DeCastro.

It won't happen but we'd e in great shape if it did.
