Really?!?! You saw Griffin getting abused and missing tackles sunday!?!?! It could not have been many considering he had 18 of them! haha once again your just a blind hater of griffin because you think he sucks and is not worth his contract so when stuff goes wrong you point at him regardless. Get a grip dude.

Regarding CJ he bounced off of cushing with a stiff arm and ran over the Jag player for a 92 yard td!

I would more say 'the Vagician' absorbed 18 tackles than he made them. Watch the game

although MG did make a nice behind the LoS tackle in garbage time.

That third string RB abused 'the Vagician' multiple times. When MG lands on his head did he really make the tackle of did the RB use him too soften his fall?

. Regardless it means he was not getting ran over and missing tackles as much as you insinuate.

Speaking of Griffin it's amazing how overrated he is around the league. I was talking to my one friend who was positive that Griffin is a great safety and one of the best in the league. I had to explain what he does for 20 minutes for him to understand he's a panzy.

It doesn't matter how many tackles he made, it matters how many he makes to prevent a first down from being made.

If you were to watch the game, nearly every tackle he made was past the first down marker, which means he is still taking bad angles like always. There is more to football than a freaking stat line.

if you enjoy watching a SS going backwards when he makes a 'tackle' then you must be a Griffin fan.

Face it Griffin made a ton of tackles way too far downfield for me too give a crap. Grabbing the RB and falling down with him after an 8 yard gash is in fact a tackle, but it a huge fail for the D.

Joe beat me by a few seconds but Im still not deleting the post - deal with it

Ok first of all, he is a Free Safety, Not a Strong Safety. Get your facts right. In some situations throughout the game he does play Strong Safety but most of the time he is playing Free Safety.

Secondly, If a safety is making tackles down the field that means that the line and lb's are not doing their job by letting them back there. You are clearly trying to blame Griffin based of your biased opinion. He had 18 tackles 1 FF and 1 TFL. At least he was tackling people unlike the first game against the pats. So he did improve on that facet.

I reiterate, not his fault if the rb's are getting into the secondary!

What it all comes down to is that games are decided in the trenches, on both sides of the ball. They may not get the credit or glory for a win, but that is how football games are won.

'the Vagician' played SS against the bolts. Johnson was at FS

    its a fact.

and the reason they switched after the Patriots game, IMHO, is because after 6 years 'the Vagician' still bites on every play action every QB ever does leaving TEs roaming totally free 20 yards over the middle. I mean at some point Griffin should have learned how too read the OL so that he doesnt constantly take himself out of plays.

FWIW Johnson was apparently no better, although I really could not tell because he was never in the frame when the ball was snapped becuase he was apparently told too play pretty real deep FS
