that bama guy would be a solid 3 down linebacker for any team he goes to with coverage ability that you dont usually see in linebackers

jackson is slow, exposed in coverage. he's good attacking the LOS but is a bit stiff and slow in space. watched every game. this season was a bad one.

Projected 40 times for Skov are all over the map. Nfl draft scout has him at 4.84 and some web sites have him at 4.75. Rivals lists him as a 4.62 guy out of high school. He plays like a 4.62 guy but anything less than 4.75 would be good for him.

Skov forced a fumble against Oregon deep in stanford territory that helped them win that game.@2:39 on the video. He's just a great player who times the blitz perfectly and gets his hands on passes.

To get a player like that in the 2nd rd would be ultimate value.

I'm not saying he's not a good backer, but with the combination of us picking 11, our needs and the 2nd round prospects I just don't like that pick for us. If we were picking at 20 I'd love the pick.

Yea I mean its good to know a guy can get his 40 down in the most important 3 months of his life, Im not drafting a guy who doesn't improve from now til the draft. If Shayne Skove is still running 4.9's I do NOT want him. Its a huge sign he doesn't put in work. Every person he meets from now til draft time is going to work hard to get his test times down 1/10 of a sec or better, you have to improve your test scores at this stage, even if it's from a 4.9 to a 4.8 you just have to.

Since you keep track of what I say so well, make a note, he runs 4.9's now according to reports, so come pro days and stuff, he will be down some, or at least he should, everyones times will come down. But sometimes you get a guy who's time stays the same or worsens, those are the guys I drop off my board.

As a matter of fact, Kendall Wright got clowned at the combine because his 40 stayed at 4.6, then he made it a point to work at it and by his pro day ran a 4.4, then got drafted in the 1st because of it.

I'd love to time Kendall right now. I bet he runs a low 4.4 MAYBE 4.38 now that he dropped them 15 lbs.

Skovs value reminds me of Kiko Alonso. Tremendous player who falls to the second and is a steal. Id absolutely be happy with Skov in the 2nd.
