I guess you are right Overalls. The Titans wouldn't have even been in the hunt if it weren't for that doorknob team of yours contributing two w's to our win total. I guess we can thank that same crap team for beating the jags twice to ensure the superiority of our division record that served as the tiebreaker.

Are all 6600 of your post just crap. I realize that you need all the practice you can get at talking smack, but your post tend to have the mental capacity of a poorly trained orangutan.

    It's purely factual information.

I understand the concept of a tiebreaker is foreign to a tinhorn since the Texans have never been in contention of anything worthy of one.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand: Chow's offense was primitive at best, and his play calling was suspect. Don't get me wrong I think he did help VY, but VY definately Helped him too. it's only smart to put in a system built around some of the players abilities. For those worried about Chow leaving and it hurting VY's progression, It's only the first year of VY learning a new offense, it's not like he had five years in this offense. Losing Chow would not set his progression back at all. By the way the coaches made it sound, he picked up the offense really quickly (is he that smart, or the offense that simplistic, hummm I wonder), and would be able to do it again. I'd rather Chow leave now, and we get someone who's going to be around for awhile, b/c these talks of Chow leaving are going to happen every single year, and just when VY is hitting his stride, Boom Chow will be gone. Again, wasn't a big fan when we hired him, I'm still not a big fan now. He can ride out.

Me, I always was a Hermindinger Fan. Steve Mac, truly became a passer and started putting up numbers when Dinger came here. like the system, He focused on throwing the ball down the field, which made running the ball easier. Let's bring him back, and watch VY's Passing stats take a big jump in the next year or two.

  5. Better to keep Chow while Young is developing. It would be easier to change OCs the more mature Young is. And that's why, if he does leave, they will probably just promote Craig Johnson rather than bring in someone entirely new.

I agree with the first part of the statement. But might Craig Johnson change significant portions of the offense if he assumed offensive co-ordinator duties? It would seem that you wouldn't want to use someone else's playbook. That's how Bill Callahan was burned in the Super Bowl vs. Tampa; the Bucs knew exactly what was coming, because they were using Gruden's playbook.

  7. They aren't really using Chow's playbook anyway. He learned Tennessee's playbook when he arrived 2 years ago. The play calling would differ, I'm sure, but the playbook would not.
