Chasing Dickerson

    There were quite a few of us, including myself, who thought it would be insane to draft another RB in the first round with the Titans' needs at WR and a year removed from taking a RB in the second-round in the two previous drafts.

    I was hoping for DeSean Jackson and a Rice or Slanton in the third or fourth. As I've said a number of times now, I am pleased things worked out as they did.

    The thing about teams stacking the box to stop CJ and dare Vince to beat them is that's how CJ often gets his long runs... put 9 in the box and he just needs to hit 1 crease to beat the entire defense. The Titans will run into just about any defensive front, and loading up against the run doesn't guarantee that they have the right angles to stop him.

    It's also good that our last 4 games are against teams that have never gone up against CJ. That kind of speed is hard to prepare for on film. STL especially could be another game like the Lions last year.

    Sucks that i benched him during the bye and forgot to start him again until we played houston. i definitely am not a fantasy guy.
