The sky is not even looking up right now. In fact we are a worse team right now than we were a season ago. New coach, new defensive scheme we have no familiarity with ever, no big play threat at RB anymore, and Jakes 3rd OC in 4 years.

Lose in hopes that it will make you a better team? I'm not stupid and pull to win meaningless games that only hurt the teams future.

Then go cheer for the Browns. They lose all the time. Lots of high draft picks over the years.

The Browns switched from a 4-3 to 3-4 with Horton and went from the 23rd ranked defense to the 9th ranked defense. Don't pretend like their players are any better than ours.

Who cares about another OC for Locker? Whiz calling the plays will clearly be a better option than we've had in any other year with Locker.

I'm curious... Who was the big threat RB we had on our roster? As far as I can tell we had a guy who was near last in yards per carry. Am I wrong? Please name this big threat RB you speak of. I'm all ears. The past is irrelevant. It's 2014, not 2009.

Things are indeed looking up... The fact that you think we're doomed is a good sign that we will be much improved.

And again who has been head coach with Jake Locker at QB? Who has been OC's? Plus our OL sucked last year with two HOF for coaches. We were at one point almost overtaken in standings by team started out 0-8. Get real people. We can do better than last yeAr.

Hmm.. Cutting Fitz doesn't save much $, but may be enough $ to be the difference in landing a Woodley or Smith or Woodyard. Whitehurst is considerably worse than Fitz and that's why this scares the crap outta me.

As long as they still on plan on drafting a QB (even as late as round 5) then this move doesn't bother me. Opens cap space, and we'll be drafting the real backup QB.

May not be the back up if locker can't stay healthy . Murray or mettenberger.
