Chargers' Tomlinson and Gates are active

<p><em>Posted by ESPN.com's Bill Williamson</em></p> <p>SAN DIEGO -- <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=2553" shape="rect" target="_new">LaDainian Tomlinson</a> and <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=5362" shape="rect" target="_new">Antonio Gates</a> are active for Saturday night's game between the Chargers and the Colts.</p> <p>Both players were game time decision.</p> <p>Tomlinson has a groin injury. The team is hopeful he will be able to hold up through the game. If not, backups <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=8544" shape="rect" target="_new">Darren Sproles</a> and <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11303" shape="rect" target="_new">Jacob Hester</a> will play key roles.</p> <p>Gates had an ankle injury. Both Tomlinson and Gates didn't practice all week.</p>
