The defenseless player category is only used to determine an illegal hit to the head or neck area...

Goodell = worst thing to ever happen to football. Cant really say anything else. "If it aint broken don't fix it."

Football is a dangerous sport that's why we pay them all of that money. If they don't want to get hit don't play football no one is forcing them. Im not saying try and kill everyone and go after players with malicious intent but don't change the game so much that its not even football anymore. I'm ok with fining some players for horrible hits that should never happen but there was only like 1 hit last year that really deserved a fine. Pussification of America - pussification of the NFL... Goodell should just go be the commissioner of a new football (AKA Soccer) league since that's what he is trying to turn our hard hitting sport into.
