McNair had a couple of receivers. There haven't been any here since.

Definitely Chandler & McNair. I have high hopes for Locker but since we are yet to see him in any meaningful action I can't put he & Hass above Chandler & McNair. Or even Young & Collins for that matter. We just don't know. Locker could be a top 5 QB in 2 years or he could be the next David Carr.

McNair and O'Donnell were better than McNair and Chandler

I think it is a wash if we are looking at career accomplishments.

Chandler and O'donnell were similar caliber guys. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/ O'donnell's career passing rating was 81 and Chandler's was 79. Both took a team to the super bowl and lost.

If we are looking at their respected roles for this franchise i would rather have Mcnair starting with O'donnell backing up then Chandler starting with a young Mcnair backing up.

    That's just it. Wasn't Mcnair-Chandler it was Chandler-Mcnair...

Chandler did not help Steve at all. He did no mentoring.

At the time of draft, not knowing what any of them would end up doing, Collins and VY had the most promise in my opinion. VY had all the talent necessary to succeed and seemed to enjoy winning a lot. I wouldn't have thought that he'd have a pissed poor work ethic.
