Champ Bailey calls it quits

    Today CB Champ Bailey announced that he will be retiring from football. Link

    I dont know about you guys, but this is somewhat of a sad day for me. I grew up watching Champ, and he quickly became my favorite CB years and years ago. I was even holding out hope the Titans might sign him to replace Verner, but last year showed he's lost a step.

    Where do you rank Bailey among all great CB's? To me he's damn near the top.

    The only other person that comes to mind is Dion, but much of his game was returns. I think Champ was the better corner.

    what kind of sets it, IMO was that much of it was during the height of the passing era.

    I put Champ up there with Lawrence Taylor, he was that good at his position. If Im building an all-time greatest team Champ is the starting CB.
