Free agent CB Ike Taylor said he'd be interested in signing with the Titans.

Taylor had previously said he'll only play for the Steelers. But now that longtime Steelers DC Dick LeBeau is now in Tennessee, Taylor has let the Titans into the mix. In reality, Taylor, 35 in May and coming off a string of horrible play, likely won't be drawing any interest outside of Pittsburgh or Tennessee.

I would only be okay with this if he is signed for the vet minimum and is just depth.

We can't go forward with him as a starting CB.

So if we sign him, we better have another plan at CB.

Agreed, and like I said in the Dick Lebeau thread: Ike Taylor was rated as one of the worst CB's in the league this past season. He did indicate that he would like to move to FS to be more of a help if we didn't need help. It's almost like he already knew our weak link at Safety and said "hey I can be who Griffin isnt".

    He is done. No doubt.

Also, he was never that good to begin with. He gets roasted A LOT.

Would I sign Ike? No. He's done. But if we did sign him and it was for vet minimum and depth, it wouldn't be awful.

Having a veteran presence around is important... I'm sure we have some guys who would benefit from having him around.

It wouldn't be awful, in fact, it would probably be a good thing simply because it would give us more options in the draft.

I want to take a corner early, but we need to be going BPA in every round. If that isn't a corner, then so be it. Guys like Taylor give us options, as long as that option isn't at a starting position.

I wouldn't mind having him in the locker room. Not like we're stacked at cb, and we need more vets who are used to winning.
