I'm a pac-apologist, but the problem is - The guy JUST got suspended within a week ago. Now, already instead of just "chilling" as he again said he'd do, he goes to a boxing match at a casino.
Ask Tupac about the types of things that happen at boxing matches. Oh, nevermind. It isn't a rare case for fights to break out in the stands of boxing matches, or for plenty of things to go wrong at casinos. (I'm guessing he hit it up)

He can't seem to drop the night-life for even a week. So lets just assume he keeps his 1 night in the city per week average up (i'm sure it's more than that) over the course of a year with no football distracting him. What are the odds that something doesn't happen?

I said it the time before last that he got in trouble: It's real simple, just stay out of clubs. But as simple as it is, pac doesn't seem smart enough to get it.

he has nobody to blame but himself.

how do you think the media would handle him if he played for a big market team like the jets or giants?

So its Pacman's fault that he's on the front page on the Tennessean Sports Section EVERY DAY of the week? Come on now, open your eyes & see the hate those people have for him. The column by Climer today just further magnifies it. His article basically states "Pacman is stupid by going to a boxing match because I said so."

unfortunately just about everyone on ESPN agreed with Clymer today..this was NOT the way to convince the Commisioner you are serious about getting back in the league..

this article is worthless, its fine that Pacman wants to go to the boxing match, there is nothing wrong with that, shoot, he's a grown man- Climer should be suspended for writing this hatefilled, worthless garbage...

I agree to. It's too early to be doing this. You work this stuff back into your life a couple of months later. Lay low for now. Right or wrong is not the issue with the NFL anymore. It's image. And Pac is creating more bad publicity by going to this boxing match. He ought to go to the movies. It's a simple decision to make.

Yep. The best thing Pac could do right now is keep a low, low profile.

In and of itself, there's nothing wrong with Pac going to a casino. Seriously....it's no worse than going to a nightclub or a strip club.

The problem is, his image and reputation are in the toilet....he's less than a week into his suspension (including stern advice from Commissioner Goodell) and already he's put himself in another situation where absolutely nothing good can come of it, and given the right circumstances, things could potentially spiral out of control very quickly. (And knowing Pacman, I'd say there's a very good chance of that happening. It's kinda his M.O.)

Believe me, I'm as anxious as anyone to see Pacman succeed, and I truly believe he could be the biggest thing since to hit the league since Deion Sanders. But this kind of crap suggests that Pac still doesn't understand that this is exactly the kind of thing the commissioner warned him against doing.

At this point, the best thing for Pacman to do is either keep his *** at home at night, or get the hell out of the United States, and find someplace where the name Adam Jones means nothing to anyone.

Otherwise, I'm thinking this could be a real short suspension, and a very long exile.
