can you really blame him though, that guy was the Bengals for years.
Just another one of those hyped up USC products. That said though, he was the best of the bunch.
I think a lot of it had to do with Chad and Terrell Owens.
Palmer has a career QB rating of 86. Has 29000 yards with 3800+ in 5 seasons including 3 seasons of 4000+ and 62% completions for his career.
Those numbers blow away every Titans QB: McNair, O'Donnell, Volek, Vince Young, KFC, Hasselbeck, Locker.
Palmer is a very good QB statistically, but the deserved knock is he makes crucial errors in the clutch.
I'd like to hear a good Cruds rant pro or con for Carson Palmer right now.
pfft, you lost cred when you said he blows away VY.
All Vince does is win!!! = me in 2009
I wouldn't say those numbers blow away McNair's.
As a PASSER McNair isn't close. As a PLAYER I'd take McNair all day.
But this is now and I was proving a point to the doubters. Not that I'd really take Carson now.... or maybe we should.
He's as good as it gets for 2 year starter for somebody. That somebody COULD be us, absolutley WONT be us. But damn I'd consider it.
I dunno, I feel like he wouldn't be much more than what Hass brought us.
If we had a solid defensive squad and just needed a guy to not throw away a game, yea sure. But we need to look for a guy that can throw the ball for 10 years, not two.
Right now at this moment..
I'd still start Steve over Palmer.
